NINA Y LAURA / SINOPSIS After the death of Laura's son, she decides to go to Chile to be with her family for a while. Her partner, Nina, stays in their house in San José and takes care of getting rid of the boy's things and emptying his room. Sadness is a constant presence that no character in this film allows themselves to express; they experience it in a very solitary and intimate way, trying to carry on with their lives but growing increasingly distant from each other. This film portrays a certain type of grief, or, we could say, something that is part of all grief, with great attention to detail in the emotions, interactions, and atmosphere, conveying to us in a particularly vivid way the emptiness and powerlessness people feel in the face of such pain.
