A truly terrifying horror movie that many have not heard about is "The Women in Black", an English film from 1989. Watch it with friends, and the lights on. No gore, just a slowly escalating horror for a young lawyer who encounters and angers a female ghost.

well iv only seen a few but iv heard of some there's the grudge and the grudge 2 jeepers creepers ,theexorcismm of emily rose ,wolf creek the ring ,prom night, final destinationn series 1 to 3 ,silence of the lambs, saw 1 saw 2 saw 3 saw 4 umm chucky when a stranger calls i still know what you did last summer theres twilight coming out in the movies i wouldnt really call it scary though hope i helped
