How old do you have to be to attend TIFF (Toronto’s International Film Festival)?

November 22009

The site is somewhat confused with the upcoming opening but I was wondering if I could go (18) and how much the all-feature-films pass costs.

any info would be appreciated, im a newbie on the film festival.

Here’s an update:
Single tickets (non-bundle packages) for films went on sale yesterday. There are ratings on the films, but since you’re 18, you’re free to watch anything. Most films cost $20 or $40 for galas, although most are sold out. Give the website a look and see whats left.

    Hey,

When you’re eighteen in Ontario, you can pretty much do whatever you like, except drink. If the film festival has alcohol, you might want to contact them about it…if you can go, that’s great! You just can’t buy drinks…

At eighteen you are able to go to any film that is shown at the festival. As for ticket prices there are many different packages. For the Festival Package- which includes 50 films is $525 and the cheapest package is the Day Package Lite- which includes 15 films is $140.
