I can see the scene in my head, but cannot remember the movie. It was a conversation between a man and a woman, and I think the woman was the one that said the line I am trying to find. It was a movie released in the last five years, I believe. Thank you in advance for all help.

What anime space movie had a battle in it where the invading aliens used tentacle weapons to kill the humans?

I watched this anime space movie in 1993. I had a battle in it where the invading aliens used tentacle weapons to kill the human pilots in the fighters and the crew of the earth battleship. At the end of the movie they set off "eve" which destroyed the entire alien invading force. Does anyone know the title of this movie?

the first anime that came to my mind was macross. Im not exactly sure if there was any use of tentacle weapons though. Are you sure its not some sort of hentai (hentai’s are perverse japanese anime that often rape women, in this case a tentacle hentai anime)?

What movie is this where an underwater creature eats the white oreo filling?

It came out about ten years ago (possibly later). It was about a family whose mother died, and they went on a mini-vacation to a beach with a lighthouse. In one part of the movie, the father decides to "dig to China" and digs a massive hole in the sand. Somehow, the children discover that there is a creature in the water which likes the white filling in oreos, and they eventually find the creature in an underground cave. The creature is sick and I think it eventually dies. Does anyone remember what the name of this movie is?

Magic in the Water (1995)
starring Mark Harmon, Joshua Jackson, Harley Jane Kozak, Sarah Wayne, Ben Cardinal
IMDb synopsis:
Radio psychologist Jack Black takes his children Joshua and Ashley on a ‘vacation’ to a lake in British Columbia. While he grinds away at work the children discover that the famous local lake monster Orky may not be just a gimmick to attract tourists after all. In fact, Orky may enable them to get closer to their workaholic dad, and help stop local polluters who are dumping toxic waste into Orky’s home.
IMDb review excerpt:
A little girl named Ashley is positive that a Loch Ness-type creature lives in the lake. She leaves some Oreo cookies on the edge of the dock. Upon her return, she discovers that the white stuff has been licked out and the rest of the cookie remains, dry as a bone.
TRIVIA:
Early in the movie, Ashley is wearing an oversized powderkeg-blue (UCLA) football jersey #7. Mark Harmon was the starting UCLA Quarterback~wearing #7.

Also, you can watch it at Amazon for a nominal fee.

You also might enjoy "Mee-Shee: The Water Giant" (which prefers salmon) and "Loch Ness" (1996). Then, there’s "The Water Horse", which I place below the others when it comes to entertainment value.

There was a movie I watched when I was younger, but haven’t been able to locate the name. It contained eyeballs with legs, and they were soldiers and carried guns. There was also a character that had a tube sock as a head and he was shot and killed by the eyeball soldiers. Does anyone have any idea what the name of this movie ie?

Sounds somewhat like the movie Freaked

There is a character that has a sock for head, i want to say they had 2 eyeballs running around with guns in the eye and also carrying a gun.

Here is the trailer for it:

What movie has a scene where they’re buying a coffin for a little girl vampire in a shop?

I thought it was in Interview with the Vampire but I watched it recently and they didn’t show it. Is it another movie or does this only happen in the book and I’m just imagining it happened in the movie?

I think you mean, INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE where Lestat and Louis help Caludia pick out her "bed"

What is a very scary movie with not too much blood or gore?

October 312009

I’m planning on watching a movie tomorrow with two of my good friends. One of them likes scary movies, but he doesn’t like a lot of gore or blood. So I need a really scary movie with that to a minimum. Things jumping out at you and stuff like that would be good tactics for a movie. More psychological, suspenseful, and jumpy. Any ideas? Thanks.

Blair Witch Project-one of the scariest movies ever! it has no gore or monsters or anything, yet you don’t even miss them.
also quite brilliantly executed and the cast didn’t really know about what was happening to them so their terror is often genuine.
In older films Alien is one of my all time faves. Aliens is great too but has a lot more visceral stuff.
The Sixth sense has almost no blood at all and is really scary
The original Nightmare on Elm Street has what I call joke gore, stuff that couldn’t really happen so it is funny and scary and it has young Johnny Depp..mmmm worth the price of admission LOL.
Monster type movies, if you don’t mind subtitles the Host is scary and really funny too, it’s a korean film about this monster that grows in this river because of all the chemical waste and Cloverfield is kind of a similar story but it’s in English.
For a really Zen horror treat-Donnie Darko
very existential
happy Howloween!

What movie Harry Potter movie do Ron and Hermione start dating?

What movie do they start liking each other? Do they make out? Do they do it?

It is never directly addressed when they start LIKING each other, and the books and the movies differ. In the books it becomes more and more obvious around book 2 and 3, though nothing ever happens until 7.

They finally kiss in Deathly Hallows- the last installment of the HP series.

What movie had the scene where the man had himself tied to his ship to avoid the Sirens call?

What movie had the scene where the man had himself tied to his ship to avoid the Sirens call?

Im pretty sure it has to do with the Odyssey but that scenes not in the movie The Odyssey with Armand Ashanti.

Ulysses (1954)
starring Kirk Douglas, Silvana Mangano, Anthony Quinn, Rossana Podestà, Franco Interlenghi
IMDb review excerpt:
He then encounters the Sirens, whose songs lure sailors to their death. Plugging the ears of his men with wax, he has himself tied to the mast with ropes so that he can hear their call.

I just checked IMDb to verify the year of release, as there are other films with that title. I see that the box art is of Ulysses aka Odysseus tied to the mast. You can see that image here:
