Today the quality of movies is so good. Harry Potter, Transporter, Mr and Mrs Smith etc. are top-class movies. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie can be called the gods of cinema. Why were old movies so bad?
Old movies are amazing. How many have you actually seen? And from how many eras or genres? The story lines are what carry the clasic movies. There was no need for special effects. (Personally, I’d prefer to go back to 1937!) You should check out some classics. Hitchcock? Pre-codes? Silents? Film noirs?
